Fluencer ("Fluencer", "we", "us" or "our") operates the Fluencer mobile application and the website at fluencerworld.ae (together, the "Platform"). Fluencer is an influencer-marketing platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that connects brands and companies with social-media influencers, as well as the media houses and agencies that manage influencers.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, password, account type (influencer, brand/company, or media/agency) and login details.
- Profile information: photo, bio, category, gender, country and city, languages, interests and other details you add to your profile.
- Social-media information: the handles, usernames and links you connect (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, X), and publicly available statistics such as follower counts, engagement rates and audience data.
- Content: posts, campaigns, applications, portfolio media, messages you send through in-app chat, reviews and any other content you submit.
- Payment and wallet information: your in-app wallet balance, transactions, payouts and limited billing details. Card and bank details are processed by third-party payment providers, not stored by us.
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers, log data and information about how you use the Platform.
- Location data: approximate location derived from your IP address, and the country/city you provide. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you grant permission for a feature that needs it.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To match brands and agencies with relevant influencers and to power profiles, social stats, posts and campaign applications.
- To enable in-app chat and communication between users.
- To operate the wallet, process payments, payouts and fees, and prevent fraud.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To improve, secure and personalise the Platform and develop new features.
- To send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data where it is necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the Platform), where you have given consent (for example optional features or marketing), where we have a legitimate interest (such as securing and improving the Platform), and where required to comply with the law.
5. How We Share Information
- With brands, companies and agencies: influencer profiles, social stats and campaign applications are shared with relevant brands and agencies for matchmaking and collaboration.
- With other users: information you choose to make public (such as your profile and posts) and content exchanged through chat is visible to the users you interact with.
- With service providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, communications and support providers who act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons: where required by law, regulation, legal process or to protect the rights, safety and property of Fluencer, our users or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party services, including social-media platforms (to verify handles and read public statistics), payment processors (to handle transactions), and analytics and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. After account closure we retain limited data where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit, access controls and secure infrastructure to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended only for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact info@fluencerworld.ae.
11. Your Rights

12. Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
- In the app: open Settings / Account and choose the option to delete your account; or
- By email: send a request from your registered email address to info@fluencerworld.ae with the subject "Account Deletion".
Once verified, we will delete or anonymise your personal data, except information we are legally required to retain (such as transaction records). Deletion is permanent and may remove access to your wallet balance and history, so please settle any pending transactions first.
13. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and your information may be processed in the UAE or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.
14. UAE Data Protection
We handle personal data in accordance with applicable United Arab Emirates data-protection laws and regulations. Where required, we will cooperate with the competent UAE authorities regarding the handling of personal data.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app and on our website and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
